I have tried many different types of flat irons ranging from cheap to super expensive for years. I have to say that this one ranks up there with one of my favorites. It's very easy to hold and work with but you have to get a hang of where the buttons are and your fingers. You can easily just lock the button after the temperature is set to avoid any mis-pushing of buttons. You just double push the power button so that it locks. The cord on the straighter is long enough so that if you don't have any immediate outlets it can reach a bit further away. I pumped up the heat to the max setting which is 450 degrees. I have thick hair so if you have thinner fine hair then you won't need to put it that high. What's cool is you can see the temperature go up on the mini display screen. It actually gets up to the heat setting it needs to be quickly as well. My hair wasn't completely dry from after my shower but I proceeded to use it. It took me about 15 minutes to get it where I wanted it. My hair was straight and looked great. I still had a tiny bit of frizz but I easily remedied that with some hair oil. I am really thrilled with the results and the straightener was comfortable to hold. There was no snagging from the plates at all which is a big peeve of mine with straighteners. Hmm, the only little negative I can think of is the price tag. It's a little expensive but that's just how it is if you want a really good high quality straightener that's going to get the job done and last long. #isaprofessional
