NeoCell Glow Matrix Advanced Skin Hydrator

A supplement which hydrates your skin from the inside out. It claims to make your skin look smoother with prolonged regular use. Sounds amazing, right? I decided to take on this challenge and use the product for a month to see how it would treat my facial skin. The pills themselves are really easy for me to swallow and I am not fond of large pills. Just some quick facts about the product is that it's Gluten-Free, lactose free, starch free, yeast free, GMO free and artificial flavor free.

Here are my progress shots after taking the pills daily for a month straight. The photos were taken in natural light in front of a window. I'm also not wearing any foundation on my skin. I have to say that I have been impressed with the product's ability to make my skin appear smoother/cleaner. I hate wearing any type of foundation so this works out great for my preferences. I also want to say that I have had problems with breaking out here and there in the mornings. I have noticed fewer breakouts over longer periods of time while taking this supplement. If you're like me and hate wearing foundation with your makeup then a skin hydrator supplement like NeoCell's Glow Matrix might work best for you.

Here's the supplement facts label so you can see exactly what's in it for yourself. I think the key in this formula has to be the ceramides, pine bark and hyaluronic acid blend.

I'll definitely continue to take this product as I feel it's been helping my skin feel and look smoother. There's nothing better than having a natural healthy glow to your skin. That's the hydration going to work indeed. :}

Lots of places sell this supplement but my favorite place to shop is Amazon because Prime is helpful.

Here's the link to buy : https://www.amazon.com/NeoCell-Glow-Matrix-Advanced-Hydrator/dp/B0127X3FIG

It's only $19 right now for 90 capsules.

Easy Creamy Shrimp Scampi with my 12" Ozeri Green Earth Pan

I totally love Ozeri products so much so here I am trying out their new packaging on their 12" pan. I already own a few of their older ones and they have lasted me many years. They cook very well and clean up quite easily. I see a difference now is they include this pot protector for when you aren't using it. If you're like me you are stacking all of your pans on top of another in a deep cabinet so this makes for a nice little cushion.

So I wanted to make a quick dinner. I decided to stick some garlic rice in my rice cooker which was simple enough. I purchased a bag of precooked frozen shrimp from my local Target along with a bag of Shrimp scampi sauce from Campbell's.

All I did was add about 4 ounces of cream cheese to the sauce to thicken it. I also added a little bit of fresh Parmesan, flour and fresh cracked pepper.

It's such a quick meal and my whole family loved it. I was lazy and left the tails which were annoying to pull off but make sure to pull off the tails to make it easier to eat.

The Ozeri Green Earth Pan heats up relatively quickly and nothing sticks to it. The pan was really easy to clean and put away. I'm very happy with it and how it cooks everything.

  •  Unlike other ceramic cookware brands, the Ozeri pan utilizes GREBLON ceramic - an ultra-safe ceramic coating from Germany which is 100% PTFE, PFOA and APEO free (no heavy metals or chemicals).
  • Innovative honeycomb textured cooking surface delivers enhanced heat distribution and unprecedented non-stick performance without releasing harmful fumes or toxins at high temperatures.
  • Utilizes a new scratch-resistant dual ceramic coating that is super easy to clean with superior abrasion resistance.
  • Made out of durable heavy-gauge die-cast aluminum with no heavy metals or harmful chemicals.
  • Boasts a comfortable heat-resistant silicon coated handle, and a magnetized induction stove safe base for rapid heat transfer.
You can buy the Ozeri Green Earth Pan here on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Ozeri-Textured-Ceramic-Non-Stick-Coating/dp/B005473FMO

When you need throwaway craft paint brushes for hobbies

US Art Supply 20pc Assorted Paint and Chip Brushes

Are you like me and hate cleaning up after stained brushes? It's a nightmare cleaning that stuff off. I was thinking I could use the smallest ones for brushing my Quick Shade onto my miniature figurines. Some people like to dip their figurines in the Quick Shade but I prefer brushing it onto the spots I need it. I try to be careful so they don't get all goopy. Anyway, I find that these work perfectly for that purpose. The bigger ones are also nice for wood staining projects or even just regular painting. This whole set was about $10 which makes them really good for those one use projects. The handles are comfortable to hold as well. I can truly recommend giving these a look for your future projects/hobbies. #usartsupply

You can buy them here on Walmart.com: http://www.walmart.com/ip/155574812

US Art Supply 36 Pack of 1/2 inch Paint Brush

If you're interested in just the smaller brushes then you should go with the 36 pack. These are my favorite for the smaller projects like the miniatures and Quick Shade. Once again I found this set very hardy and surprisingly good quality.

You can buy them here at walmart.com: http://www.walmart.com/ip/138524740

US Art Supply 12 Pack of 3 inch Paint

These are great for painting projects. I personally have used these larger brushes to redo furniture pieces. I didn't have any problems with the bristles shedding from them which is good. You can even wash and reuse these which I have already done. You can also throw them away after a use without feeling guilty about it since it's so affordable.   These are good for staining larger furniture pieces as well. I love all the ways I can use them!

What we thought about Baby Mum-Mum Rusks

It's been so long and I wanted to have a little taste test with my own kids so I present to you, Baby Mum-Mum! I used to get these for my kids when they were babies and they loved eating them. They come in a few different flavors so here are three of them which are Apple & Pumpkin, Vegetable with Spinach, cabbage & Carrot and Original Rice. They also gave me a reusable water bottle bag. These are pretty cool to travel with so thanks!

I think I am more wary now of nutritional facts than I ever was in my life. I'm more than impressed by what I see. The ingredients are so simple and easy to understand. Anyway, I had my 12 year old daughter try them and she said she loved the apple & pumpkin variety. She has been bugging me for more as an after school snack every now and then. I think children and adults can enjoy these little biscuits. What's better is that they are individually packaged so they are great on the go.

My thoughts? Get these for your babies or toddlers over cookies like Oreos & Chip's Ahoy. Your kids can enjoy those sugar ridden things later on in life. Give them the best you can while you can. Baby Mum-Mum has always been a huge success in my life and my kids life.

Thanks Green MomsMeet and Hot-Kid for allowing my family, friends and group to try this awesome product out. The neighbors have been more than thrilled to give this snack to their little ones.

What we thought about Orgain Protein bars

A quick little post about my Orgain protein sampling.

We tried three flavors which were Peanut Butter, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk. Protein bars always have a way with sounding extra delicious don't they? If only they tasted exactly like the flavor claimed! We all know how it is with them though. It seems what's good for you can sometimes have a tiny drawback with flavor usually being the culprit.

The kids didn't like these bars at all. That's fine as I think this may be more steered toward adults to get in some protein on the go with a busy lifestyle. I think younger kids may not mind the taste/texture while tweens/teens may not like it very much. I honestly thought the texture of these bars were not that great. It just put me off and I was hoping for a more granola like texture. I wish the flavors had more to offer compared to other bars. I have tasted some decent bars before from other brands but I think protein bars in general will never taste 100% delicious. The packaging is nice and was hoping to try the coffee drink but I can't find it anywhere. If I could give it 3.5 stars out of 5 that would be my rating for it.

Here's the low down on these bars

  • Plant based
  • Vegan
  • Soy free
  • Gluten free
  • Dairy free
  • Non GMO
  • 10g protein

Feel free to check out Orgain Protein on their website here: http://shop.orgain.com/?gclid=CNmstN6dzNACFQ5LDQodGncKGA

You can find Orgain protein bars at your local Target which is where I found mine. (about $6.99 for a pack of 4 )

I also peeped their products at my Wegman's .

**Thanks to Green Moms Meet for allowing me to sample Orgain Protein with my group, family and friends for free **

What I thought about Doodletopia Fairies by Christopher Hart

I'm not going to say I'm a super awesome artist because I am not the best but I can kind of draw things. I'm one of those types of people that need to look at other things for inspiration though. I can then form my own creations based on it. Landing proportions can be tough if you aren't used to it.

I decided to pick up Doodletopia Fairies to review because it looked genuinely interesting. If someone can teach me how to better my techniques then I am all for it. The book is lush and filled with many different kinds of whimsical fairies. Christopher lays out his drawing and then puts a blank slate on the next page giving you a chance to try it out. He explains the little details that will help make your creation fit the particular style/mood.

You can see his playful little style in each of his drawings. I really do love the fact that he basically puts a mannequin in the way and tells your to add or try what he says. His directions are easy to understand and straight to the point. I'm a 30 year old woman and I enjoyed filling in the details but I would totally give this to my 12 year old to play around with. Not only are you learning but it IS fun. The paper makes it easy to even color in if you want. It took color pencils really well. I only did one so far but here is what I came up with.

Can you tell what I borrowed my design from? It's an acknowledgement to Mercy from Overwatch. I love the way her face came out looking so innocent. Eyebrows are everything as well as eye shape. It will give your character the mood they need.

So I didn't even know who Christopher Hart was so I did look him up. I now recognized who he was because I have always seen his How To Draw Anime/Manga books around at Michael's arts and crafts stores. What a wonderfully talented individual.

Be sure to check out his site here where you can check out all his books: http://christopherhartbooks.com/

A big thumbs up to him and this book. It's wonderful for any age and I would most definitely recommend it.

GlassesShop.com , Stylish & Affordable Prescription Glasses for Men and Women Review

How cool are these glasses that I bought online from GlassesShop.Com!

I actually have a red pair of glasses from them for myself which you can see here on a post I made last year: http://nescasnook.blogspot.com/2015/06/glassesshopcom-cute-affordable.html

Those were more for women but this new pair I got for my boyfriend to wear which is for men. He had really old glasses from about 8 years ago but was using updated contacts. I told him it's time for something new. We went to Sears optical for the eye doctor appointment but opted to take the prescription with us to order glasses online

There were so many different styles to choose from so it was a little difficult to pick. They also had the option of prescription sunglasses but we went with regular prescription glasses. Ordering was quite simple and in the end we went with this lovely pair called BowlingGreen Rectangle in Black : http://www.glassesshop.com/eyeglasses/fp0917

These frames were only $29.95 which is crazy cheap compared to the frame cost at Sears.

Also, for an example I will let you know my boyfriend's glasses prescription ( RX)  numbers below

OD:           -3.25
Cylinder:    -0.50
Axis:          160

OS:          -3.00
Cylinder:   -0.50
Axis:         37

You also have to measure out your pupillary distance ( PD ) which can be a little tricky. His came out to 67.5 mm

There are ways you can measure it with charts online to make your life easier. You could also ask your doctor to do it for you before you leave your appointment.

I just LOVE his new glasses and he loves them, too. No one should be afraid to order glasses online because it's easy and so affordable. You also have so many options to go with online.

There is a special coupon code GSHOT50 you guys can use. This code means that you can have 50% off on eyeglasses and sunglasses with free lenses(sale frames excluded).

Try them out and see for yourself how awesome and easy it is to have affordable glasses that look great!

My Thoughts on Bite Beauty Matte Creme Lip Crayons

Hey guys! So I got to try out these three pretty colors from Bite Beauty thanks to Influenster, woohoo! It's from their Matte Creme Lip Crayon line. This is my first time trying out a higher end lip product and I have to say that they applied so smoothly. The crayon shape made it really easy to put on especially for someone who isn't that adept with makeup. So to all my ladies who aren't blessed with makeup skills I think this is a great lip product to try out. There are so many different colors in this lineup but here's just three. As you know, red always seems to pop and look good on me so the Red Velvet color was awesome. I think ladies with a darker skin color may benefit greatly from Cava or Glace. I feel like it made me look too pale but it might be right with a nice smokey eye. I don't really go heavy on the eye shadow and prefer liner instead so the red is just perfect for my particular style. You can find these pretty lip colors at Sephora. #TheMatteCremeLip #Influenster #BiteBeauty #gotitfree

Feel free to browse some photos I took wearing all three lip colors below. Bear in mind that I am in no way a makeup wizard or guru. I'm just a simple gal who loves easy to use/apply makeup. I know I'm not the only one out there who has trouble finding the right pieces of makeup to use when you can't apply it properly. I admit it..I am guilty of being awful at makeup but high end products make it so much easier to work with it. Trust me! Thank you Influenster and Bite Beauty for letting this everyday average girl try out your awesome stuff. Watch out Sephora because I'm coming to check out your Bite Beauty products soon!

We recently got the chance to check out the Spin Master Gabby's Dollhouse Cakey's Kitchen. Lucas really adores Gabby's Dollhou...
