Ozeri Precision Digital Bathroom Scale

Ozeri Precision Digital Bathroom Scale

I got the chance to try out this precision digital bathroom scale by Ozeri. They are a great company. I actually got to try out their ceramic frying pan a little bit ago which is amazing as well. I was definitely surprised by how sleek and modern it looked. I have never seen such an eye pleasing digital scale before.

You can see its made out of tempered glass.

You can see how thin it is. It's really so lightweight and durable.

You can see the feet of the scale here. It has rubber feet which keep it in place wherever you wish to place it. You do have to make sure its on a flat stable surface though. You can't put this on carpet or it won't work properly. I'm actually showing it in my bathroom which is where I decided to keep it. You also have to be aware its not a good idea to keep it in a place which has a bunch of moisture like a bathroom but mine is aired out properly and not next to the shower. You also shouldn't store it where there are chemicals laying around because that can mess it up too.

The scale runs on a small lithium battery which is included with it. There is no on or off button you just step onto the scale and let it go to work. When you are done just step off and it turns itself off. I did not like the closing plastic piece that goes over the battery because i had to fumble with it for a few minutes to get it on properly. There is also a small button above the battery where you can convert the weight units to British stones or kilograms if you prefer.

Here you can see the numbers show up nice and clear. I really don't feel happy weighing almost 120 UGH but i guess its accurate. I have to stop snacking so much lol. I am almost 5'4 but still ...I would be happy if i can turn that into 115 at least. That's a different story though.

I really am impressed by this scale. It's easy to use and lightweight to truck around the house if need be. At only $14.95 on Amazon you can buy one for yourself too. I think the price is really good for such a cute looking scale.

Actually the first shot of my cat on it. You can weigh your pets probably but I would make sure they are pets that can keep still on it ...I don't know how well it would handle a big dog's nails crashing about on it. It's very helpful though.

Here's the link to the scale to purchase through Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00CWM1QIY

Here's another one they sell in black. I personally really like the look of this one. It is ...perfect! If this suits your style you can buy it as well though here. http://www.amazon.com/Ozeri-ZB15-Precision-Bathroom-Activation/dp/B005URI2VW/ref=pd_sim_sbs_hg_5

This one is a little more expensive at $28.95 but its really flawless and modern looking. Just check them out they have a bunch of cool gadgets for home use.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomato Bruschetta

Bella Sun Luci Sun Dried Tomato

I got the chance to try out these Sun dried tomatoes by Bella Sun Luci. It is produced in Chico, California by the Mooney Family. They are in 100% pure olive oil.

When I saw the jars I thought that these were truly top of the line. You can just peek inside through them to see all the goodness. I usually use canned tomatoes to throw into my recipes but for the sake of trying this I decided to use the Bella Sun Luci Bruschetta with Italian basil in the extra virgin olive oil.

I was going to do something different tonight. This is a recipe that NEEDS tomatoes in it or else it lacks. You'd think I would bust out an Italian food recipe. Nope! I wanted to use this stuff in an Indian dish....Hot Curry Chicken! I also usually make this recipe stove top but I decided to use my slow cooker as an experiment.

First you need some chicken. I used some thin sliced chicken breasts.

I cut that all up into pieces but I didn't make them too small or too large. I threw it all into my slow cooker. I also sprinkled some garlic and onion powder on top.

I then cut 3/4 of an onion into slivers and threw it in. Any type of onion will do...I use yellow onions. I took a spoonful of chopped garlic (mine is jarred) and put it in with everything. I also have some red chili pepper in a squeeze tube that i squirted in there.

Now for the tomatoes. Like I said, I would usually just take some canned tomatoes and throw it in but I am going to use the Bella Sun Luci.

I used 3/4 a cup but I later thought I should have put some more so I would use a whole whopping cup of it. Look at that quality. You can just see everything in its purest form. It smelled so awesome and the consistency was perfect.

After that I used 3-4 big tablespoons of Patak's Hot Curry paste. Then I added about 1 cup of water which you could substitute for chicken broth if you want more flavor.

Cover and let it cook on low for 6-7 hours. I put mine in at 10:00 am and let it go until like 7pm.

This is how it will look when it's all done. Your chicken will be nice and tender and mixed in with a wonderful sauce. (If your sauce comes out too thin just add some flour and cook it on high for like 5 mins more)

I put some naan bread in the oven to have with it and made some white rice to serve it on. It's just a wonderful filling meal to have in colder weather. It's very kid friendly as well.

I really enjoyed this product wholeheartedly. You can probably find their products at Target or your local high end grocery stores. If you can't find it they sell their stuff online on Amazon. Try it you won't regret it! Check out all their products here : http://www.mooneyfarms.com/

New color contacts from Myeyecolors.com

My eyes are naturally dark brown. I can't say I have ever been too thrilled with this. I find them kind of boring and a bunch of people have them.

Sometimes they almost look black.

Anyway, thank goodness there is the option of colored contact lenses. There are so many different kinds you can get nowadays.

I got the chance to check out some green colored contacts from www.myeyecolors.com
These are the ones I got. They are called Freshtone lenses in Jade Green. I think these lenses mix with your natural eye color. They didn't look that bright on me.  They cost $39.99.

The order went through quickly and seamlessly. They actually were mailed from Lancaster, PA which isn't far from me because I am in Pennsylvania as well so they came within a couple of days.

Here's the box the lenses were packaged in.

Here is the packaging the lenses were in more specifically.

Here's how I look with the contacts in. I love how they look. It's not too dramatic. It makes it look more natural to me. Now that definitely does not look like the color depicted on the website. I think the model must have really light eyes or something and its blending in. Nonetheless, it looks really nice. I am not used to contacts because the last time I had worn them was probably 15 years ago so it was a little weird slightly uncomfortable feeling. I would put them on at least twice a week to get used to them or even more if you aren't a contact wearer.

Here is a close up shot. It looks like a dark deep green to me.

They have a bunch of fun colors on their site. Maybe you need a different eye color for a cosplay or costume dress up you'd like to do. They have different shades of every color.

Check out their website and take a look around if you are looking for a fresh new look for yourself or even need a new eye color for Halloween! www.myeyecolors.com
