Making a Pikachu Origami with Craft Haven Origami Paper

I don't make Origami often but when I do I try to make something simple. I'm a beginner. You can do more things with Origami paper though if you like to do just general paper crafting. You don't necessarily need to fold and you can definitely cut out shapes for poster board projects with the kids.

I wanted to try something easy so I went online to look for a Pikachu origami tutorial and stumbled upon a quick video on this page here --->

It takes no time at all and here's how my pikachu head came out.

The Origami paper I used is called Craft Haven Origami Paper which you can buy a box on Amazon for $13.99 --->

Some of the paper is double sided and some of them have the one colored and one white side. I found it very easy to work with and durable. It wasn't too thin which I hate folding because that kind of paper can easily rip. Good stuff!

You can look up so many simple projects online. I made a simple small envelope with one piece and a goblin head with another. Have fun with it!

Manga Art by Mark Crilley

Sometimes I come across little gems of books to review and I couldn't help but to take a closer look at this one. I love anime and I love drawing so I figured this one would be right up my alley. I'm the type of person who NEEDS inspiration to come up with my own drawings. I have a hard time drawing straight from my mind a lot of the time. This is great for people are just like me.

Mark Crilley is just a fantastic artist and proves it in this book. There's just so many different types of styles he shows you. If you're looking to make your own fan art of shows, video games, movies or just about any type of entertainment then this would be very helpful. He goes into detail on how he mixes different media together to create something special.

I really like how he engages you as the reader with his personal stories within most of the pages. It's fun to read and great to reference. I will also say that he does reference the Wacom tablet quite a bit along with Adobe Photoshop. These are two important tools to have at your disposal if you want to really get into it. You should also have a quality scanner to transfer your paper/line work to the software program to color it.

Let's face it. If you love anime/manga then you need this book in your life. Trust me when I say that the whimsical nature of this book will engage you wholeheartedly. I loved the book so much and will keep it with my art supplies for reference in my own artwork.

Boderier Body Jewelry Gold Triangle Bikini Bra

Got this cute body jewelry for review from Boderier Jewelry on Amazon. You can wear it over a bikini top, under a deep v-cut top , over a top ... endless possibilities.

Buy here--->

Very easy to put on though I think it's meant to hang loose around the body. The clasp is at the very end of one side so you would have to wrap it around your body if you want it to fit like a bra. I was able to wrap it around my waist once to have it like that. You can also hang it loosely like you see on the bottom right square in the photo. Either way this piece of body jewelry is really cute and I keep on display on my armored mannequin in my bedroom.

My new Circle Contact Lenses from + Red Anime Contact Lenses for Cosplay Fashion Purposes

I got to try out these amazing circle contact lenses from and they are so much fun! provides a bunch of crazy cool contact lenses for your personal tastes. They make your eyes look bigger and prettier. It's a lot more prevalent in the asian community but just about anyone can pull them off as long as you get the right color for your face. I tend to try and go for a more natural look so I went with a light brown color since my eyes are dark brown.

Look at all the cool extras I got. They came with a case for them and a cute furry zebra and spotted cow carrying case. The contacts themselves were really easy to put on and felt absolutely comfortable. It's funny because I just recently went to the eye doctor to get prescribed contacts. I can tell you that these fashion contacts made in Korea feel a whole lot better than the ones I was offered. For some reason the Acuvue's do not feel that great in my eyes plus they are so hard to take off. I only wish these Circle Lenses came in my prescription strength so I could wear them all the time. These contacts are good for normal wear but for all you Cosplay people out there these are it. Getting the right eye color when cosplaying your favorite anime/manga/video game character is pretty much that finishing touch that will make your character come to life.

For every two pairs of contact lenses you order you will get a random cute animal case for your lenses. I got the cute pink bunny case and I really do love it. You can see them all here:

I have gotten so many compliments on these lenses. These contacts are from the Cafe Series if you're interested in these. You can find them here:  . They are $29.95 but they are Quality lenses. I have tried different fashion lenses and they were so uncomfortable and hurt me so bad I had to take them out almost immediately. These are just perfect.

The red lenses are more for unnatural but meant to be for cosplay/anime or just Halloween costuming purposes. If you're into the Goth/Vampire scene this might work out for you as well. These are called the Red Anime Contact Lenses. You can find them here:

They cost $29.95 as well. I did experience seeing a little bit of red out of the corners of my vision but it wasn't enough to discourage me from wearing them. I think this would be fine for a convention of sorts or a night of Halloween but that's about it.

This company is great and I would highly recommend them since they have high quality lenses. These are things you are putting into your eyes so you have to be careful to choose the right company.

Looking for a cute and unique crossbody cellphone purse?

I always seem to take quick trips out the grocery store or my local big box store but I don't like hauling around my bigger purses. It's such a pain! I thought I would love to find something that's cute but compact. I only really need to take my phone, ID and some cash when I go out so no need for a big bag.

This lovely little crossbody cellular purse was just the ticket. It has a nice retro/vintage color to it which could easily be paired with a cute dress. Now here's something I have never seen before on a clasp. It's kind of like a jewelry snake head. This would be a must for anyone into reptiles or snakes. I just kind of fell in love with the way it looks. I have never seen anything like it so it's pretty unique.

My phone is an Alcatel Android so it just fits in perfectly. This probably wouldn't fit an iphone in the little pocket in front which is where I put my phone but it could fit it within the bigger space. You could then fold your cash and ID into the smaller pocket. There's also space for some lipstick and small makeup pieces.

Dimensions: 4 5/8” W x 7 ½” L x 2 5/8” D

Anyway, you can buy this crossbody cellular bag purse here on Amazon:

Struggling with underarm odor as a female & how to help fix it

Yup, this is a tough topic to talk about for many females. I will openly say I am one of the many females who struggle with bad underarm odor. You're probably thinking that its a problem that everybody has which you are right to a degree. I wish people knew how bad the odor and sweat gets for me but they just laugh when I tell them my underarms always smell bad.

Go to the doctor? I already told the doctor about it and I felt like he thought he was talking to some 13 year old going through puberty. I tried asking for a prescription deodorant but I was brushed off once again. Hey, I have another appointment coming up tomorrow so we will see what my new Doctor tells me.

Image result for deodorant

I have tried every single deodorant under the sun. Nothing has ever worked for more than 10 minutes out of the shower for me. Clinical strength deodorants are a joke and never work for more than 30 minutes out of the shower. Maybe I'm the odd one out here but there HAS to be others who suffer like me. I even tried a deodorant cleanse and my underarms just smelled completely horrendous without anything but lotion. So yeah the whole going natural does NOT work for people like me.

Every so often I come across a new product that claims it can kill under arm odor and so my eyes light up like a Christmas tree in hopes that it might work. Enter these deodorant underarm wipes from a company called,  "Game Face Grooming." It looked a bit gruff and kind of marketed towards men but I didn't care because I was desperate to try something new. Maybe just maybe something like this would work for my big problem.

The wipes came in the mail for me to try out and I did after a long day I decided to wipe my stinky underarms before bed. The smell is wonderful which I thought they would smell like men's cologne but didn't. They kind of have a shea butter smell to them. The wipes were thick, strong and nicely sized. My underarms had a nice neutral shea butter scent to them. I could see the dirt right on the wipe. I took a pic of it but it's hard to see since it was night time. (Try to see at the top of the palm of my hand for the dirt spots. Just squint really hard. That's my foster kitten by the way, hi!)

I was surprised to smell that I still smelled fresh even right before I went to sleep that night which was like 3 hours after I did that wipe. I smelled decent in the morning...just a little bit of the usual morning sweat. Well, the wipes work and I'll be using them at night before bed to keep the extra sweat/stank away.

Here's my routine now on the daily:

1. I must shower right in the morning to scrub up paying extra close attention to my underarms with a special Cetaphil body wash. It's a little expensive but worth it. I got mine at Rite Aid.

2. Use a high quality lotion that doesn't have too much scent on it. I like to round robin between Live Clean baby lotion and Shea Moisture for sensitive skin. I also have used aloe based hand repair creams. L'oreal Paris Hydra Genius has also made my rotation. Basically anything that is HIGH quality and not some frou frou body lotion from Bath and Body works filled with obnoxiously delicious scents.

3. Pure baking soda. Yup, I said it. It's the devil because it makes me itch like crazy from time to time and burns a bit. It's the ONLY thing that works for me sadly. You can use any brand honestly and a box is super cheap at Walmart. I beg of you though, use a blush makeup brush to lightly dust it on after you put on your lotion. I used to take my finger tips and rub it on thickly. DON'T DO THAT! I ended up with scaly, dark and leathery looking underarms after about 2 weeks of doing this straight. The light dusting with a makeup brush does the trick and only itches me lightly here and there. I'd rather be itchy and stank free though. My preference. You could also follow up with an anti-itch lotion like lotrimin.

4. And lastly which is now apart of my ritual every 2-3 days is to wipe my underarms thoroughly at night with one of these Game Face Grooming Deodorant wipes. It lets my underarms rest up from all the other stuff and keeps me fresh. It's $7.99 for a pack of 25 so you can probably wipe twice a day if you decide to just go deodorant free for the rest of your life but that would be kind of expensive to take on. Eh, if you compare it to the cost of "clinical deodorants" it's actually about the same.

So I hope this has helped anyone who's dealing with underarm odor. Even if you are a guy or a female. Just a shout out to anyone who is depressed about it...don't be. You can get over it by controlling it daily. Get into a routine that works for you. I did it and I feel better about myself. I feel better about wearing a short sleeve shirt or dress to family events. No one wants to be stinky.

If you have any questions or comments please feel free to speak in the comment section. I'm here for you!

My new Cat Eye Prescription Glasses from

How cute are these eyeglasses? I got the amazing opportunity to try out these prescription eyeglasses from They are called the Hoboken Cat Eye - Red. I'll go more into depth on these glasses in a minute. I just wanted to say that you don't have to be afraid to order prescription glasses online with the fear of them not coming in exactly how it's supposed to be. I have a really strong prescription so I was a little worried but that all changed after I tried them on. My prescription is OD -8.50 OS -9.00 so I'm pretty blind without my glasses. I also was scared it was going to be super thick but it seems like they are just fine aesthetically. You know what? These glasses are also a whole lot cheaper to order as well. You will save so much money doing it this way. I wish I would have known about this before I shelled out about $250 at Sears Optical for my current older eyeglasses.

Anyway, the Hoboken Cat Eye - Red glasses are so comfortable to wear. My other eyeglasses are constantly sliding off my face but these stay right on my face. The frames are also quite sturdy so I don't have to worry about them breaking easily. I have gotten so many compliments on them already. These are perfect for anyone wanting that cute retro vintage look to their outfits. I have so many vintage looking dresses but the eyeglasses never match up quite right and these do.

They actually do come in a different style other than the red as shown . It's subtle but cute as well. They have plenty of Cat Eye glasses online to choose from.

I honestly just adore these cheap prescription glasses. They have a good fit for my face and the color goes well with anything. The glasses came with a case and a cleaning cloth to keep them looking their best.

Another great aspect of this site is that they do offer prescription sunglasses as well. I think I look terrible in sunglasses so I'll pass on that one but sunglasses look really great on many people.

Anyway, if you liked the glasses I am wearing you can buy them here with or without prescription :

Be sure to also check out their best sellers here:

Here's a special discount code you can use to purchase your own pair of eyeglasses GSHOT50  which is 50% off for all eyeglasses online and sunglasses with free lenses only throughout the website, with the exception of sales frames.

Any questions/comments? Feel free to let me know, thanks!
