Symbiotics® Colostrum Plus

I got the opportunity to try out Symbiotics Colostrum plus through MomsMeet. I always do a group meet up with the moms and kids to try things out and then I will take the products again later on to try in my own privacy. I received three products. The first product was this VeganSmart All-In-One Nutritional shake in Vanilla. I love vanilla shakes so I thought this would be good. I am not a vegan though. I was very skeptical about trying this....especially in water.

Here's how it looks inside. Doesn't look very appetizing and smelled kind of funny. But I proceeded onward to try it.

I mixed it with water like it said to do. I'm just going to be honest and say it tasted simply disgusting. I could barely stomach it. I wanted to give it another try with some milk. I know vegans don't drink milk but I am not a vegan. It tasted bearable after I mixed it with 2% milk. I highly suggest getting some vanilla soy milk if you are a vegan to mix this in because with water it's nasty.

Next I tried these Symbiotics Colostrum wild cherry chewables. To me they almost tasted like Flintstone vitamins. I think these may just be a little more chalkier. The aftertaste it gives is a little unpleasant but alright.

All the kids liked this the best. I think this would be great to have around for both kids and adults.

Next I tried the Symbiotics Proline Rich Polypeptides with Colostrum plus. It smelled good to me.

I immediately got the smell of Klim. It was a powdered whole milk I would have when I was younger that tasted delicious. I mixed this stuff with water first to try. I wouldn't recommend having it with water because it didn't taste good. I then took 2% milk and mixed it and it was good like that/.
That's how it looked mixed with water.

This is how it looked with the milk.  Looked tastier to me.

I think these are all beneficial products to have to make a healthier lifestyle for yourself and your family but I would not touch that vegan shake ever again. The chewables will be finished and used here at home with my family and the colostrum mix will be put to use in milkshakes. I'm very happy as always to have the chance to try new things with my group , family and friends. Thanks MomsMeet and Symbiotics!

My Caring Cross

I got the chance to check out this cross carved from a single unique piece of beautifully grained olive wood pruned from the olive trees around Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus. It's called My Caring Cross. You hold it in your hand while you pray or meditate. Personally, I will be using it for under my pillow. I already have a bible under my pillow so now it will have a partner. I will explain in a moment why I do this.

My caring cross comes with a very nice burgandy velvet bag. You can use it to store it away safely. It would be good to put in your purse so it doesn't get scratched up and take it with you to church.  I personally was so intrigued on the process of making these crosses so I went to their facebook page which you can find here: https://www.facebook.com/MyCaringCross
They have pictures posted of the whole process. I really think that's awesome that they show this so you know the hard work, care and love that went into making your cross.
The little black book that says, " I Am" is a small bible I got from online. This is what I keep under my pillow. I used to have this bigger red bible but this one is better for under my pillow...can't really feel it.

Alright let me tell you that I am not a really big religious type person. I do believe in God and I used to go to a Pentecostal church when I was younger ( Thanks grandma). I don't go to church but I have total respect for everyone who takes time every Sunday to go. I'm the type of person who will say a little prayer in my head at night to help me sleep better and feel better in the mornings.
I don't know if it was the place I was living at years ago but I would hear things at night..very scary things. I was sleeping in my bed one night and heard a little toy car move across the floor of my bedroom and then I heard "Sshh". I also was trying to sleep one night and heard a very scary old female voice say , " Yes , go to sleep". Terrible stuff. I started keeping a bible under my pillow from then on and it seemed to subside. This is not easy to talk about because I don't want to seem like a crazy person but I am a normal and sane person.
Something to fall back on these situations such as a bible or cross really helps out in my opinion.

I am very happy to have this cross. I don't have any in my home so this is my first. I love it..it's amazing. It's very smooth when I hold it in my hand, comfortable and comforting to own. You can get your own cross here through Amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00EV58ZY8/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Kashi Sea Salt & Olive Oil Hummus Crisps

So I the chance to try out these hummus crisps by Kashi courtesy of BzzAgent. I have had a few things from Kashi before and they aren't terrible. I really like the packaging and colors used. To me it signifies something simple and pure. While I am not a huge health nuts I do really enjoy healthy snacks genuinely. I love to snack on granola bars and fruit. I am always looking for a good healthy snack my kids will also enjoy because they are always hungry.

The chip itself is very light and airy. Almost like a nice thin potato chip but with a bit more texture.
Alright so lets talk about what I thought about the taste. Let me start with I am NOT a picky person. I can appreciate healthy things. This chip has a very nice crunch to it. The taste? The seasonings were there though I thought it could use more of a punch. It was really bland to me. It kind of tasted like slightly seasoned crispy cardboard chips. I didn't stop eating them though lol. I kept popping them. If I had to really watch my health believe me I would be able to eat these no problem.
I tried to offer it to my cat Rusty.

I think he was angry with me for offering him chips. My cat is a garbage disposal and eats weird things. He did grab the chip in his mouth but he dropped it and sniffed it but turned his nose up at it lol. I just found it funny.

I think I had half the bag( I was starving when I got my package.) I offered one to my daughter but she looked at me like I had three heads after she sniffed it and said nah. My son loves to try everything like me...He is the adventurous one. He took it and ate it. I asked him what he thought and he said it was good. I gave him the rest and he finished it. I suppose this is very kid friendly then...maybe. I would say take a chance and get it for your kid to see if they like it because its a very healthy alternative to a bunch of garbage chips that's out there...while they may be delicious (Lays chips you rock my world).

Thank you BzzAgent and Kashi for letting me try these chips! I will be giving away these Kashi coupons to family and friends who are interested in trying them.

Extra-Large Ice Ball Silicone Double Mold

I got the chance to review these Ice sphere molds by Epica. I have never seen anything like this so I was naturally intrigued about it. You know they remind me of a spell that mages have from World of Warcraft.

Frozen Orb...yes I know..I am very nerdy. Cant help it.

The molds themself are made from BPA free silicone. They are very durable and not flimsy at all but has enough bending quality so when you need to take out your ice ball from it ..it comes out easily.

There is a hole at the top of the mold and this is where you pour the water in. Make sure the seams are tightly sealed so water doesnt get out.

You just pop them in the freezer for 5-7 hours so make sure if you want to use them to give them ample time to set. Also be careful you don't overfill it.

This is a small glass to use for this. If you're sipping at an alcoholic drink then go for it but I had this in a small glass of lemonade and it wasn't needed. When I think about it for regular drinks I think this would be good for making those big jugs of iced tea that you mix with water and having two of these spheres ready to drop in for guests so that it cools quickly for them.

Have a dog or cat? Pop one of these balls into their water bowl. My cat Rusty played with it for a minute but then left it alone. It will keep your pets water bowl cool for a long time.

I would totally recommend filling the mold halfway for a small glass of drink that you want to use it with. It will make half a sphere.

I really like this product and think it would be a cool way to serve drinks out to guests.

You can buy your own here on Amazon for $9.95: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DVTHPSM

Spin Master Gabby's Dollhouse Cakey's Kitchen

We recently got the chance to check out the Spin Master Gabby's Dollhouse Cakey's Kitchen. Lucas really adores Gabby's Dollhou...
