Tastykake® Kandy Bar Kakes

So I got this Tastykake in my Influenster Spring Fever VoxBox this month. I like snacking on things all the time but I am very wary of cakes like this in packages. I'm more of a muffin type of person personally. I do love chocolate though and I LOVE chocolate bars. Reese's is one of those chocolate bars that I can enjoy but it's not my first choice in stores. Quite honestly, if I saw this on the shelf I don't think I would have grabbed it to try it. I think I would have been more inclined to try the Smores one. Oh yeah, by the way this line of kakes come in York Peppermint and Smores aside from the Reese's.

Be aware that this thing is very crumbly. I was standing when I unsheathed this cake. I had pieces of it going all over my floor and my kitty was all too happy about that happening but I wasn't smiling.

It was good. I'll stop at there because I didn't think it was amazing. I actually hate little cakes that are too sweet. I get there other chocolate cupcake thingies regularly and I will actually peel off the top layer of chocolate sugar peelie thingy that's there because it's too much for me. I think I am getting old.

It definitely had that Reese's peanut buttery taste to it but it wasn't overpowering. Even after trying this I don't think I would buy a box. I think I will try the other flavors though...they sound better.

Noxicare To the Rescue!

This is a question for all my hardcore gamers or just you gamers as old as I am (27). Have you had the dreaded tingling pain in your hand and forearm? I'm talking about the hand you use on your mouse. It's probably carpal tunnel. Younger people are suffering from carpal tunnel nowadays and it's no surprise from all the technology out there. You text , type and click all day from work to after work at home. This is how my hand curls up on my mouse when I am gaming.

There's lots of topical creams out there for muscle pain but they work for a short time and then poof it's gone and the pain is back. I actually own IcyHot and that stuff is terribly greasy. It also smells very strong and I really don't want to go out smelling like it.

Well, I actually came upon this awesome pain relief cream called Noxicare. I have heard of it before and my mom actually has a bottle of this stuff because I gifted it to her for Christmas but I never tried it. She says she loves it and that it's been very good. You think this type of product is for old people so you don't even consider it for yourself but I was wrong lol. So here I am trying it for my carpal tunnel ridden gamer hand/arm.

Don't put too much cream like I just did. I don't think I needed that much but I got excited. Hard to see in this picture but the color of this cream is like the same color as a yellow neon highlighter. If you put too much you will have to be careful because you will get a residue like this.
There is no greasy feeling after you get it all rubbed in. It just absorbs so well into your skin. It doesn't really smell like anything. This is the greatness you get from an all natural product like this. My hand and arm felt like it was cool and floating. I was able to game on it without pain or issue.

My boyfriend has been having lower back pains lately so I tried it on his back.

You can see the color of the cream well in this photo.
I asked him from 1-10 how much it helped but unfortunately he said it only had the effect of a 3 in that area. It could be a hardcore problem with his lower back that may need something else though. It was worth a shot!

I took Noxicare with us to the running track in the park. My boyfriend was having pains in his lower leg after a couple of laps around the track so I thought this would be a good opportunity to try this out for that pain afflicted area.

Always stretch before working out or running. A lot of people do not do this and that's what causes pain in the first place! We both applied the cream to the backs of our legs and ankles. He said from 1-10 it probably helped up to a 6 with holding back the pain. I think that's better than working out enduring the whole amount of pain. I felt pretty good though. It could be because I have skinny little chicken legs that absorbs the cream like its swimming in a pool of heaven.

I really enjoyed working with this cream in the end. I now keep it on my desk to help out with my carpal tunnel pains. Here's a link to their website: http://www.noxicare.com/

You can also like them on their Facebook page here:Noxicare Facebook

You can buy the 3.5 ounce bottle of cream online for $26.95 or they have 60 capsules for $29.95.

I prefer the cream but if you have chronic body pains all over I would probably suggest the capsules.

Palmolive Soft Touch

I received this package of Palmolive Soft Touch dish liquid by surprise. Well, I knew I was getting the package but they didn't tell me what it was going to be. I got it free from Influenster. Influenster has given me all types of free goodies in exchange for my honest feedback. You can sign up by clicking my Influenster button to the right of this page.

I've heard and seen Palmolive products in the store every time I would go shopping over at Target. To be honest, I always have thought as Palmolive to be the inferior brand to all the others. I am a big believer of Dawn and that's the brand I would always buy. More times than any other i have always found coupons and sales for it as well. Step up your game on those coupons Palmolive! :p

Of course, I am  a big believer of trying something if it's free or cheap. I wanted to conduct my own little experiment as well. I wanted to see how my nails and hands would look after I washed the dishes. It's a big no-no to paint your nails before dishes but I did it on purpose.

I picked the pink one to try because aloe doesn't really sound all that great to me. What's weird is when I opened this stuff it smelled like citrus to me. I don't know why but yeah that's the only way I can describe it. Not too much of a strong scent either. I hate when I wash dishes and you can really smell the liquid detergent that was used on it. Well, there goes my nails all painted up ready to wash some dishes.

There goes my pile of dishes. I left them all there waiting for Miss Palmolive. It's hard to see the mess on my plates because my plates are black. Black nails , black dishes....what can I say I love black and no I am not some dreary goth person lol. Black to me is just good modern taste. I do love the pink color of Palmolive though. It's so feminine and cheery.

Here's the liquid. Not too thick but not too thin either. I really hate when detergent is super liquidy because then it takes a lot of it to wash dishes.

Check out that lather. Just how I like it!

That's scrambled eggs that I cooked in that pan. You know how bad that stuff can stick onto your pans. Palmolive took it right out and it didn't even take any hard work to do so.

Look at how squeaky clean it left it after just a minute of cleaning it up. This stuff is amazing!

I loved how clean it left my dishes! It's staying right on top of my sink in front of my other dish liquid I was using before. It looks prettier in my kitchen, too. :}

My hands feel great and my nail polish didn't even take a hit. Rusty the cat approves also. >(^__^)<

Going to share these great coupons with my family and friends so they can try it out too. I think I will be greedy though and keep one for myself. I really want to try the coconut one. It sounds like it would smell so nice.

Thanks Influenster and Palmolive.

OxiClean 2in1 Stain Fighter with Color Safe Brightener

I got the chance to try OxiClean 2in1 Stain fighter plus Color Safe Brightener Liquid courtesy of Smiley360 for free. Most of us have heard of OxiClean from the television infomercials ( Thank you Billy Mays RIP). I've always wondered if this stuff actually did what they showed on tv.

I love trying new detergents as I just got the chance to try Woolite and Seventh Generation detergents not too long ago for free as well. I'm still hand washing certain pieces of clothing so that's how I took my approach to this experiment.

So the experiment I was doing was to take a few pieces of different kinds of clothing and do before and after shots to see how dramatic the results would be. I actually did the same thing with the Woolite. This time I will show some of my process a little better in detail.

This is my striped tank top before shot. Little Rusty always needs to get involved in my reviews. He loves the attention.

This is a dirty white shirt with visible underarm sweat stains. This is the reason I can't buy too many white tops.
This is a pink shirt with some underarm sweat. Yes, my clothing is notorious for that. @__@

Alright well, I filled up my bathroom sink with warm water and put in some of the detergent. This stuff smells very nice. Did I like the smell better than the Woolite? Nah..but it still smelled very good.

I let the clothing soak in the detergent for like 2 hours after I scrubbed them.

Here's the nasty dirty water after I took out the clothing.

Alright and now on to the after results.

I really think it brightened up the colors on my tank top. They look deeper now. I love it! Almost looks like from when I first purchased it years ago.

Lighting is a little bad on the frontal shot but there it goes to the right with proper lighting on it. Look at how it cleared up the underarm sweat!

Here's the pink shirt. Once again it cleaned up the underarm sweat.

Overall, I am very happy at the results for brightening up my clothing and taking out dirt. I didn't have any grass stains or food stains on my clothing but I am sure if it cleaned out the underarm sweat it can clean that stuff out too. Just make sure to pretreat the stain before you stick it in the water or your washer. Works wonderfully! I am glad I had the chance to try this stuff out for free and will recommend it to anyone who has a problem with pit sweat stains like I do.

Centrum Flavor Burst

I received a small free sample packet of Centrum Flavor Burst to try out courtesy of Smiley360. I decided to try it right away. I got the grape flavor. I thought it tasted great! It has a tart taste to it. I would get these if they were on sale definitely.

To me these are probably better tasting than gummy vitamins I have had in the past. I totally recommend them if you are wanting to try some new vitamins without the chalky taste most have.

Here's a picture of the size comparison to my finger.

CollageIt Pro Giveaway for Mother's Day, 20 winners!

I recently got the chance to try this software by PearlMountain Technology called CollageIt Pro.
I was amazed at how simple and fast it was to use this program.

You know when you try out a program and you're just sitting there looking at all the buttons like, " uhhh what do I press to get this thing going?" There is totally none of that. It's pretty self explanatory when you look at it.

When you open up the program it prompts you to pick a layout. There are quite a few to choose from. You can just pick one and always change it later on.

The space to the left is where you drag and drop the pictures you want to use for your collage. So just have your picture folder open on your computer and just drag them over, it's that easy! Once you have all the pictures in your photo list then you just drag over the pictures to the right and put them in the boxes. You can click on the boxes and change their sizes around to fit the picture.

You can click the shuffle button at the bottom which randomly places your pictures around for you if you are having a hard time deciding. You can even go back to choose template button and pick a different one but it will still keep all your pictures there.

I think overall it's a great product to use for photos and would totally recommend it for that reason. I do think it's a little bit more expensive than it should be. I would think more people would be a little more open to a price of $10 instead of $19.90.

Here's some of the awesome photos I used courtesy of my sister.  http://www.inspiredbykataleya.blogspot.com/

Seventh Generation

I got the chance to check out all these products courtesy of Smiley360. All these products are gentle and hypoallergenic that are designed with you, your family , and the environment in mind. The packaging for these products feel awesome.

The one thing that I wanted to try right away was the Mandarin refreshing facial cleansing cloth. It's the same standard size as usual facial cleansing cloths. ( 6.2" x 7.8") It smells so GOOD! I mean if you don't mind smelling like a gentle touch of oranges. It's quite nice. My face feels clean and fresh like I just washed it.

Moving on , I tried the the lavender moisturizing lotion. I tried it on my feet because they get dry on the top. I think I am secretly a reptilian creature because I have a rough dry spot on the top of my left foot. Okay so it feels nice going on and it's not super sticky but the smell...hmmm. Yes, it smells very lavender-y if that's a word. It's just not pleasant to me.

I haven't used the bodywash yet but it's the same scent as the facial cloth and i am sure i will love it.

There's a baby shampoo and wash here that I haven't touched either. I don't even have a baby right now...at least not a human baby.

Here's a picture of my non human baby, Rusty. Isn't he the cutest?! Okay, moving on.

Oh! The baby shampoo & wash and the baby lotion is made with extra virgin olive oil. By the way, I am trying these products right now at my desk as I am typing this. So let me just open this baby lotion packet. It doesn't really smell like anything at all. But it goes on so smooth. I love how these products aren't leaving me with any sticky residue because I hate that so much. Some people have sensitive skin and this stuff would probably be perfect for them. Just because it says baby lotion on it doesn't mean you have to use it on a baby.

I'm convinced the baby wash probably doesn't have a smell since the lotion didn't. That's okay I suppose if you don't want strong scents to emanate from you.

The natural 4x laundry detergent has a picture of an octopus on it. I am definitely going to use this for a handwash on my undergarments.

I think I loved the cleansing cloths the most. Great products if you are looking for a natural and mild alternative to the chemical ridden other products out there.

Thanks smiley360 and Seventh Generation! If you're interested to purchase this stuff you can find it at SVG.com, Amazon.com, Soap.com, Diapers.com, Walgreens and I am pretty certain I have seen this stuff at my Target.

Spin Master Gabby's Dollhouse Cakey's Kitchen

We recently got the chance to check out the Spin Master Gabby's Dollhouse Cakey's Kitchen. Lucas really adores Gabby's Dollhou...
