Affordable cute Spring / Summer Skirts with V28

New Sakura pleat skirt from V28 on Amazon. It's cute but it makes me feel so short. Have to wear high heels with this one or wedge sandals. It comes in so many different patterns but I'm a simple person so this one caught my eye. It's nicely sized black and white stripes look pretty. I know they have cherry prints , feathers, polka dots and florals.

The skirt you see here is in a size Small which is their smallest size. For reference, I'm 5'3" and 114 lbs. --> $14.99 w/ Prime

I know it's hard finding cute styles for cheap prices but I love a lot of the patterns this skirt comes in. The length on it is really modest as well. I adore Amazon clothing and this is just one of the many pieces I have come to love for my unique looking wardrobe. Don't miss out on this great deal for a new cute piece of clothing.

My new Mikayo Saito Drapery set in Navy / Indigo

** New Photos will be pending soon! **

I got my drapery set in the Navy/Indigo color which was available through Amazon to purchase. I was very happy with them. They were neatly packaged and didn't have any wrinkles when I put them up on the drapery rod. They look fantastic in my front dining room. The material is thick and high quality. Even with a darker color you can get some natural light to pop in which I was happy with. I purchased two which was one for each side which worked out great for my wide front porch window attached to that front dining area. So lovely!

The photos are from when I unpacked my drapery set. I had to put them up in my computer room for now since the lighting in my front dining room is not the best. I'll update photos showcasing the draperies soon.

Degreasing an old refrigerator with Green Gobbler

Had to clean up a gross fridge in the basement so I could use it temporarily. My Green Gobbler Apple Melon all purpose cleaner did the trick. I love how easy it is to make a new refill as well. It cut through months of nasty build up. I wish I took a picture of underneath some of the caddies, yuck! There was brown nastiness everywhere but Green Gobbler cut through it all with a little bit of extra elbow grease. Love it!!

Ozeri flameless stove lighter, Thermomax stackable lunch box and Curva artisan drinking glasses Review

I needed this for the gas stove in my downstairs apartment since it's an older model. You know the problem with gas stoves is they kind of make this clicking sound sometimes but the gas is still running. Well, I needed something to help ignite the fire safely without constantly using matches or other lighting devices which uses up batteries. This is really easy to use and all you have to do is squeeze the handle and hold the tip towards the gas. It will produce a small electric current that will light the stove burner for you easily.  I can conveniently keep this in the kitchen drawer and rely on it to work.

This stackable lunch box is pretty awesome! My boyfriend has been on the Keto diet so this has been helping me to keep Keto friendly snacks for him packed away for his on the road job. Everything stays fresh and delicious. I can also use this on the weekends to put away a meal for him later on so he can have it conveniently. The clips on the side work effortlessly. Everything is pretty straightforward on it and the handles are a nice touch. We love this little green stackable box.

These glasses are simply gorgeous! I love using them for entertaining. They all came perfectly bubble wrapped which I was happy about. You can use them for cold or hot beverages. My whole family enjoys them. I have not used them in a dish washer as I wash everything by hand but I would handle them with care. These glasses are just a must have for guests. Believe me when I say they will think they are neat and its a nice conversation starter.

Trying out Good Food Made Simple with Green Moms Meet

Ta-DA! Introducing Good Food Made Simple frozen meals. I found mine at my local Target but you can probably find them in other super markets like Wegman's. I picked out 4 to try out at home that I thought sounded good. I'm not a huge picky eater but I need simple foods as I do have my own eating problems. I feel like I have a mild case of Gastroparesis but that's another story. I do suffer from bad acid problems as well. I wanted something that wouldn't bother me while eating.

All the meals were good but my favorite had to be the lemon chicken. So a big thumbs up for this one. This is how it looks coming out of the box in its frozen state. I tried taking photos of it before and then after it was heated up in the microwave without mixing it around. I wanted to give the true essence of what you are going to get from freezer to your ready to eat bowl.

So here's the finished products:

It was fantastic and I felt like it was a generous amount of food. I was satisfied for a long while after eating it. (Mind you I eat like a bird and I weigh around 114 lbs at 5'3" so that may be biased who knows!)

Here's some of the other meals I had the pleasure of trying. The chicken black bean was fantastic. I think a bunch of companies seem to find it hard to make good rice and beans and as a hispanic person this is a staple at home. I think they nailed it pretty well. Nothing will ever be as good as home made but this was good for something quick and hot to have. The shredded chicken pieces were good.

Here's the next one. It's the steak and black beans. It was good but I'm always picky about frozen meal meats. I will say the positive is the meat wasn't chewy or fatty. It was good cuts but I just never seem to like them. I ate everything but pushed aside the meat.

And here's the last one I tried. This is the three pepper beef. This one had really good flavors. The only thing bad about this one for me was the immense heat on it. I couldn't handle the spiciness but ate through most of it because the sauce was quite tasty. If you can't handle really spicy meals I would probably stay away from this one. I feel like it needs a hot disclaimer on it somewhere to warn consumers.

Well, that was my personal sampling experience. I think their meals are fantastic and I recommend trying a few of them for yourself and your family.

Portrait Revolution by Julia L. Kay --- The ultimate portrait style inspiration book

Introducing the big book of portraits! I was totally intrigued as an artist to see the many different styles portraits are done in. Everyone has their own unique to the way they draw and paint. Each and every one is worth a look. You can admire the line work and technique.

I'm honestly not the best at portraits which is why I wanted to see the way everyone else does it. I have learned so much from studying this book for weeks on end. So you get to see the person's original photo and the way a few different artists portrayed them. It's quite delightful. You also get to read the model's thoughts on how they felt about their portrait.

Inspiration is a powerful thing and a useful tool. I will keep going back into this book so I can see many different styles to play with when I do art.

Julia L. Kay Bio

Julia L. Kay is a painter, printmaker, photographer, muralist and digital artist who was born and raised in New York City. The summer before second grade, her family visited San Francisco, and she knew immediately that she wanted to live in the Bay Area. Before she was free to move West, however, she needed to see to her education, so she finger-painted her way up through the grades, attended the High School of Music and Art in NYC, received her BA in Photography from Wesleyan University in Connecticut and did graduate work at the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland. Finally, she came out to California and settled in sunny West Oakland, where she lived for 12 years before moving to San Francisco.

Julia’s images of people, plants and animals distorted through the funhouse mirror of her imagination have been shown in New York, Connecticut, Maryland, San Francisco, around the East Bay, and on the internet. Her work has won local competitions and a mural commission.

Simply 7 Snacks Quinoa Chips w/ Green Moms Meet

I think the plain sea salt Quinoa chips were the best out of the bunch for my group. The only chip no one seemed to like was the Kale chip. I think I , myself , prefer my kale to be in soups. The main Quinoa or even the hummus chips were quite tasty. It almost tastes like a mix between a tortilla chip and popcorn. They all have the most pleasant textures to them as well. It's what you expect a proper chip to be like. I think that's the best part aside from the extra attention to detail on the flavorings.

Thanks Green Moms Meet for the opportunity!!
