Lips N Lotions Beeswax Lip Balm & Lotion Bars

I got the chance to review something called a Lotion Bar. I honestly had no idea what it was at first and had to look it up. I thought it sounded so interesting and I have never really seen them around in stores. I am very familiar with Beeswax products though and that is an ingredient in these bars.

There's a big variety of lotion bars and lip balms you can choose from.

The shop is called LipsNLotions and it's an Etsy Shop.

Before I get into it I just want to tell you the ingredients that are in the lip balms and lotion bars this shop has to offer.

Sweet almond oil, organic unrefined shea butter, pure filtered beeswax, coconut oil, jojoba oil, flavor/frgrance oil, color tint, *Natural sweetner (only used in lip balms).

I couldn't believe some of these lip balm flavors!

Absinthe
Bacon
Blue Raspberry
Caramel (Browns Football Label)
Dill Pickle
French Toast
French Vanilla
Hot Cinnamon
Lavender Vanilla
Lemonheads
Mojíto
Orange Juice (Browns Football Label)
Peanut Butter
Pizza
Popcorn
Toasted Marshmallow

You'll almost be tempted to eat most of these.

I received the orange juice lip balm to try out.

It smells so good once you get it open. It's called orange juice but it smelled more like an orange cream ice cream bar. (Btw I love those ice creams) It applies on beautifully. It's so smooth and if you get some in your mouth it doesn't taste terribly bad. Not even my EOS lip balm applies this smoothly. This smells heavenly compared to my other lip balms as well. I love it so much! All the Lip Balms are priced at $3 individually or you can take advantage of their special which is 4 for $10.

Moving on to the lotion bars. I love how it came wrapped up because I was afraid of it being dried out even with storage in a tin. This one pictured here is Monkey Farts. I thought that sounded funny and interesting so I gave it a shot.

You can get an idea of the size of the bar. I guess it smells like bananas and cookies to me. The banana scent isn't too heavy. It's definitely a unique scent. It's not greasy at all. I think I like this best for my rough patches of skin. I have rough alligator skin patches on the tops of my feet unfortunately. I am always looking for good moisturizers to help with that and this stuff worked amazing for it.

This is Dawg Pound. I got this one for my boyfriend. I thought it was funny how it had a sticker in the back of it saying," For Dudes." The scent is not overpowering. Like they describe it has a clean smell to it. I like to use this one for back massages. You can give your man a nice treat with this lotion bar or even gift it to a guy friend or family member.

There are many more scents for the lotion bars.

Apple Rose
Bamboo Sugar Cane
Black Licorice
Butterfly Kisses (light lavender with a hint of vanilla)
Dawg Pound (bay, amber, rum, shaving cream-sexy scent for men)
Lilac
Love Spell (Victoria's Secret fragrance)
Dragon Fire (charred wood, amber, sandalwood, like "Bonfire Bliss")
Eucalyptus
Lavender (strong, true lavender scent)
Monkey Farts (cake batter, subtle banana, light vanilla)
Moonlight Path (Bath & Body fragrance)
Purple Cow (grape soda, vanilla ice cream)
Vanilla Almond

You can buy each lotion bar for $6 individually or take advantage of their special which is 3 for $15.

Oh! I just want to say how much I loooooved the packaging it came in . Totally unexpected and a pleasant surprise.

I also loved the cute little card that came with my order. It's a very special touch that made me feel appreciated.

Epica Deluxe Pet Car Seat Cover

I got to try out this Deluxe Pet Car Seat cover by Epica. Well, I didn't try it out but I got it for my boyfriend's mother's car because she has a big dog she travels around with often. She will usually just throw some blankets in the back seat for the dog but it didn't really help with keeping the dog hair off the seats. As soon as you pull it out of the box you can feel how wonderful it feels. It's made of heavy duty micro suede protected with stain-block. Let it catch all of that doggy drool because you can just throw it in the washing machine later on. This car seat cover literally took a minute to put in. How nice is that? For all you people on the go!

Here's the culprit of all the dog hair action the back seat gets.

This is the type of car she has. The seat cover fits any backseat as long as it has headrests and its an all in one that's connected.

As you can see it has velcro tabs that you just snap on. The seat belt goes right through so if you even wanted some messy kids to sit in the back and have a car seat cover for them then it works the same way.No more greasy little fingers touching the seats or food spillage on your seats.

You can see the open slit for the seat belt to attach into the clicker.

As you can see the straps go right around the headrests to hold it up properly.

The bottom part holds it snugly in place. Look at that micro-suede action going on. Believe me when I tell you this seat cover feels amazing.

Side view from under the seat cover to show you how it attaches on to your seat.

Here's Miss Sophie in the car using the car seat cover already. I know she doesn't look very happy but she is!

She seems happy and comfortable with her new car seat cover and so is her momma.

You can buy one here on Amazon for just $29.95: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DIIKLCI

It looks great style wise and it feels wonderful for your dog or even for kiddies!

Thank you to Epica for letting me review this car seat cover...another amazing product.

The Sock Monkey Family Limo Wedding Party by BryBelly

I got the chance to check out these Sock Monkeys from BryBelly.  There are so many different kinds of sock monkeys that they offer if you check out there Sock Monkey Family page on Amazon. I received The Sock Monkey Family Limo Wedding Party.

They come in a pink box which is their limo. What these monkeys are supposed to do is offer a story. It's more than just picking up a storybook for your child but to bring an interactive story to life. You can use the box to store the monkeys away and if you turn it around you can poke open the holes in the top of the box to stick their heads out from it as if they were driving to the church for the wedding.

I couldn't get it to close all the way but you get the point of it.

You can listen to their story here on Youtube: The Sock Monkey Family Limo Wedding Party Story

Rusty cat is just loving the limo box lol. He wanted to go to the wedding too.

Here's Princess Penelope hanging out. She is very lovely in her white wedding gown. She graduated from Monkey University with a degree in Zoology. This girl is obviously going places!

Here's Sammy Sasporilla. He is getting married to Miss Princess Penelope. He proposed to Penelope in a tropical rainforest. I like to think he used a banana shaped wooden box as a ring holder.

Here's Myles. He is a cool purple monkey. He is the limo driver. He takes driving seriously and has never had a traffic accident or speeding ticket.

Here's Minister Mook! I think his name is my favorite. He is marrying Princess Penelope and Sammy together. He's a gentle old soul.

The kiddies were too small to hang out with the adults on the chandelier. The pink one is Ava and she is the flower girl and also the niece of Princess Penelope. She is very silly and attends Banana Elementary School and loves to play practical jokes. Brayden is Sammy's nephew and also attends the same school. He loves banana cake.

Rusty cat loves hanging out with the monkeys. They are so much fun to play with and pose around.

Rusty cat also loves to monkey sit the kiddies.

All the sock monkeys are so soft and durable. They are just very well made.

They would make such a great gift for kids. Not only that ...I think there are a few of us adults who love toys. I know I have plushies on my desk. I enjoyed myself making up fun stories and joking around with my family and boyfriend about it. You know people want to tell you toys are meant for kids but I think they shouldn't have all the fun . If you break up the price you are paying $5 a monkey because it costs $29.99 for the whole set. It's a pretty good deal. I think this would actually be a cute and fun gift idea (of course, along with a more mature gift ( Gift cards?)) for a friend or family member who is getting married. You can have the monkey as a gift card holder.

Here goes the crew hanging out on the couch. I think I am going to watch some netflix with them soon and have some lunch in a little bit after my review. Thank you BryBelly for my new friends, lol LOVE IT!

10" Ozeri Green Earth Textured Ceramic Nonstick Frying Pan

I cook often at home so when I saw this pan for review I jumped on it to try it. I have some metal pans that just burn at the bottom if I dont keep adding some type of liquid to keep it from sticking. Quite honestly, the only reason I was interested in this pan was for its nonstick properties it boasted. Not only that , the pan is a cute green color which looks different from my other pans.

I pan cook chicken and porkchops a lot so I wanted something that would do that without leaving me a big mess to clean afterward. Another thing I notice about my pans is they get heated really quickly which may be the other reason it burns quickly.

The Green Earth pan has something on it called Greblon Ck2. It's a glossy, scratch resistant ceramic coating. It's really interesting looking. It has sort of a honey comb design to it.

Here's the bottom of the pan.  Oh it's so shiny and new.  Alright , now let's just get in to what i thought about it and what i cooked with it.

I decided to make chicken fajitas. So I needed to cook onions and chicken in a sauce. The one thing I noticed is it took longer than my other pants to heat up. So I think you are trading in cook time for its nonstick properties.

My onions cooked but I didn't get any browning action going on. I was kind of disappointed because I love the browning action for veggies and meat. I did add butter on the pan beforehand as well.

My chicken did not brown either and it only looks colored because of the fajita sauce I added to it after the meat was cooked.

If you want to transfer food over from another pan to simmer without sticking or burning then this is the pan for you. It was really good with keeping the sauce and meat together without sticking.

Would I use this to pan sear meats? No, I would not. When you sear and brown your meats you are putting a nice crust and flavor into it.

I really think this pan might be more suited to scrambled eggs or omelets. If you're worried about the  persistent pollutant of the environment through pan fumes then i guess this is also more suited to your cooking needs because it doesn't emit those fumes.
I just have such mixed feelings about this pan. I'm going to use it for breakfast foods , grilled cheese and to heat up sauces..maybe make fried rice and such in it. I can't put meat or veggies in here to brown so I won't.

If you're looking for that non stick pan that will be super easy to clean then i would definitely go for this pan.

You can buy this pan here on Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004CSXMP6

Epica Pet Nail Clippers

Today I will be reviewing pet nail clippers from Epica. They can be used on both dogs and cats. I, myself, have two wonderful little kitties.

We have Peeper (black cat) and Rusty.

It's quite challenging trying to cut your pets nails sometimes. I think cat owners know how tough it is to keep up with that with their finicky beasts. I honestly tried this out before I took pictures and it wasn't that bad. It was quick and the cats only started complaining towards the end of it. So the second time I try to pose with them to take pictures using it was a big fail. They both were so squirmy. You have to be careful with kitties because it's very easy to grab too much nail and cut the quick causing bleeding.

There is a picture in the back of it showing how to cut their nails but here is a better one. Make sure to clip a little over the Quick. Easier said than done, I know. It's beneficial to know how to clip your pets nails because it can become an annoyance taking them to the vet or pet store , not to mention expensive.

The grips on the nailclipper are really comfortable. The safety lock is awesome for me because i can keep them closed up and keep them in a pen/pencil jar on my desk so I do not lose it.

Do you see this face? This is the face of not having fun, lol. This is why it's good to have a great quality nail clipper like the Epica professional nail clippers so that it can be done precisely, quickly and painless.

Another face of despair. He was kicking me away. "No momma, I do not want to take pictures today."

I did have some small cheapo nail clippers but I lost them. They were small and very easy to lose. It's hard to keep a good grip on tiny nail clippers anyway.

I would totally recommend buying a good quality nail clipper like the Epica professional nail clipper.
Just be careful with your pets and make sure they are calm before you try this. Offer them some treats before hand.

You can buy the Epica Nail clipper here through Amazon for only $9.95: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DV6X57K
