So I decided to try out this awesome 45 piece set with a simple drawing and mixed media effects. I had to keep in mind that I am an artist (somewhat) and have worked with really high end stuff before. I started out with the sketching pencils and found that they worked really well. I was able to make my drawing without the lead breaking or chipping. I decided to start coloring in with the color pencils. They were surprisingly very good. I got some nice shading and coloring done with them. The crayons which I sparingly used were decent but nothing super special. The paint was also nicely pigmented but the brush was not amazing to me. I like the fact that it comes with sharpeners to work with.I will have to say that in the end this is a great simple starting set for budding artists. I wanted this for my 10 and 11 year old to use for school stuff but I tried it out myself just to see. You really can't go wrong for the price and everything included in here. I will say that the pencils make it super worth it alone and work amazingly. I also love the little carrying case to keep everything organized nicely. #usartsupply
