Super Swizz Spiral Slicer

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

So I got to try this product called the Super Swizz. You can use this product to make spiral slices of food. I'm going to show you a GOOD example of what it can do by showing you the stock phot.

Here's a few shots of my Super Swizz below.

So it's pretty much like a giant manual pencil sharpener. That end piece with the pointy metal pin on it is for when your vegetable gets too small to handle and you can push that in the end of it to move it easily. There are stainless steel blades inside on both ends to spiral cut your veggie of choice.

So here's my carrot. A regular sized carrot from Walmart that I purchased just for this experiment.

And here's what happened. I got nice swirls of carrot that I can use for my salads. What I did was put them in a small Tupperware container so I can have it readily available. I really do like the concept behind this product and I will be using it in the future with cucumbers and potatoes.  Oh and it comes with a neat little brush so you can clean it up more efficiently. You pretty much need the brush to clean it because I tried without it and that wasn't happening very easily.

Like I said...I think this product is awesome and will be using it in the future. I do think they should make a smaller version of this for smaller pieces of veggies. I also like that it's a good size to store away in your kitchen. Totally recommend this for a lot of healthy eating recipe ideas. It also makes the vegetables visually beautiful for your food dishes.

You can buy your own Super Swizz on Amazon: Click here to buy!!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
