Solid Cordz PREMIUM GOLD Plated with Ethernet (28 AWG) - HDMI Cable

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

I got to try out these HDMI Cables from Solid Cordz.
Now I'm a really big technology buff so I have a ton of electronics here at home. The most important thing that I rely on is getting my laptop connected to my television so I could enjoy movies and shows on the big screen. I always have a bunch of HDMI cables on hand for my various uses around the house. I have two desktops, a laptop and an Xbox. All these things use HDMI cables.

Here's a picture of the Solid Cordz HDMI cable next to my Mad Catz HDMI cable. They pretty much look the same.

Now , I'm going to be straight up and tell you that most HDMI cables can do the same thing but there are subtle differences. With regard to color reproduction there are some minor variations, but they all fall within acceptable limits. If you go with the fancier ones with the threaded wire cover it's basically all for show.  The other difference is, ofcourse, Ethernet capability which you need for LAN connections. Solid Cordz does provide this in their HDMI cables.

Here's a neat little positive to buying Solid Cordz HDMI cables. They come with these plastic caps to protect the HDMI connecter while it's not in use.

Pretty much look the same but the other difference is lengths between cables. My Mad Catz HDMI is super long and I really don't need all that extra cable going from my TV to my laptop because they are right next to each other.

Perfect fit into the back of my TV!

And there you have it. A perfect HDMI connection from my TV to my laptop courtesy of Solid Cordz.
