So I got this Tastykake in my Influenster Spring Fever VoxBox this month. I like snacking on things all the time but I am very wary of cakes like this in packages. I'm more of a muffin type of person personally. I do love chocolate though and I LOVE chocolate bars. Reese's is one of those chocolate bars that I can enjoy but it's not my first choice in stores. Quite honestly, if I saw this on the shelf I don't think I would have grabbed it to try it. I think I would have been more inclined to try the Smores one. Oh yeah, by the way this line of kakes come in York Peppermint and Smores aside from the Reese's.
Be aware that this thing is very crumbly. I was standing when I unsheathed this cake. I had pieces of it going all over my floor and my kitty was all too happy about that happening but I wasn't smiling.
It was good. I'll stop at there because I didn't think it was amazing. I actually hate little cakes that are too sweet. I get there other chocolate cupcake thingies regularly and I will actually peel off the top layer of chocolate sugar peelie thingy that's there because it's too much for me. I think I am getting old.
It definitely had that Reese's peanut buttery taste to it but it wasn't overpowering. Even after trying this I don't think I would buy a box. I think I will try the other flavors though...they sound better.
