Spin Master Gabby's Dollhouse Cakey's Kitchen

 

We recently got the chance to check out the Spin Master Gabby's Dollhouse Cakey's Kitchen. Lucas really adores Gabby's Dollhouse. He has been watching the show on Netflix ever since it first came out. He is autistic so our view on it will pertain to that notion. This kitchen is made for 3 year olds plus and Lucas is 2. There are only a few things I was worried about him using such as the small cardboard pieces. 

The kitchen was actually made pretty well. I love the colors which keep in line with the theme of the show perfectly. The size of the kitchen is perfect height for him. Everything was easy to put together and took about 15 minutes to do with my partner. You'll need a few batteries for the back part. There are three things that make sounds. The stove has knobs that turn for frying and boiling sounds. They have 2 different sounds for each motion. Cakey can also be pressed down to talk or sing. My son did get a little emotional with the constant sounds but thankfully you can control that part yourself. 

Nothing is perfect and so I will touch on the things I think that need improvement. I wish the cardboard pasta box and milk container were plastic. I also wish the smaller food pieces were made out of wood or plastic. My son likes to mouth things still and they have teeth marks already. I'm hoping to also replace the cardboard curtains with actual fabric at some point. 

My son's favorite pieces are the pan and utensils. He will grab them all and carry them around. I think this toy kitchen is very whimsical and a favorite even if the child is not familiar with Gabby's Dollhouse.

Buying Prescription Glasses with GlassesShop.Com

How cute are these two glasses? I got the chance again to try out these prescription glasses from GlassesShop.com. They are called the Evangeline Cat Eye and Ethel Cat Eye. I have been noticing the trend of Clear Frame or champagne colors on glasses lately so that's what I wanted to go for. Cheap Glasses Online are pretty easy to find nowadays. They ended up looking very similar to one another so I was afraid of that. When I put them on I feel like they made me have two different looks surprisingly. It's always good to have multiple colors and styles to choose from to match different outfits. GlassesShop.Com makes that easy to do since their frames are super cheap. 

I just wanted to say that you don't have to be afraid to order prescription glasses online with the fear of them not coming in exactly how it's supposed to be. I have ordered from them a few times already over the years and it's been completely reliable. I have a really strong prescription so I was a little worried but that all changed after I tried them on. My prescription is OD -8.50 OS -9.00 so I'm pretty blind without my glasses. I also was scared it was going to be super thick but it seems like they are just fine aesthetically. You can get them cut down to look normal so no one will ever know.

You know what? These glasses are also a whole lot cheaper to order as well. You will save so much money doing it this way. I wish I would have known about this before I shelled out about hundreds at Sears Optical for my older glasses. If you have a man in your life that may need to order Men's Glasses for they have a big selection for them as well. My husband has a pair from them that he ordered years ago and they are still good! 

I honestly just adore these cheap prescription glasses. They have a good fit for my face and the color goes well with anything. The glasses came with a case and a cleaning cloth to keep them looking their best.

Another great aspect of this site is that they do offer Women's Sunglasses as well. I think I look terrible in sunglasses so I'll pass on that one but sunglasses look really great on many people.
