Skin Secret Derma Roller + $100 Amazon Gift Card Giveaway

I got the opportunity to try out the Skin Secret Derma roller. I actually have never heard of this before so I wanted to try it out for myself. So for all the people who don't know what one is it's a skin needling device with many small surgical needles. Dermarollers come in needle lengths between 0.13 and 3 mm. The needle diameter (thickness) is approximately 0.25 mm at their base. This Derma roller is 1.0 mm.


What the Derma Roller does is stimulate collagen production. This is a great step to help you eliminate scars , lines , wrinkles and cellulite. It's good because with regular use it will help you achieve the results of plastic surgery without the invasiveness of it.

If you go from left to right the 6th red dot would be the Derma Roller I have used here in the picture.

So I went online and did a little research before I used it and saw how other people were preparing to use it. I washed my face and clipped back my hair and prepared myself. I wondered if it would hurt me. It didn't look like it hurt too much but then I kept watching more and more videos. I guess it all depends on the needle thickness you get. I braced myself and rolled it on my forehead area first. What you want to do is roll across and kind of do like an X. You can hear your skin being penetrated if you listen carefully. I have a very good pain threshold but yes, it did hurt me quite a bit. I didn't bleed a whole lot but the blood does start coming up. If you can get someone brave enough to do the procedure quickly for you I would suggest that. I cleaned off my face and put Vitamin C serum on it. It stung for quite a while and my face was really red. I would not recommend you doing this the night before a big outing. I saved mine for the weekend and my face was still a little red even after that. I would say you need a good 4 days for it to heal. I really did like the effect it had on my nose area. I don't think I would do my whole face again unless I start getting wrinkles and feel desperate. I will be using this on my body because I will feel a little more comfortable going out.

This was probably like 3 days after I Derma Rolled and it shows a little bit of redness after the fact. I felt like my skin felt really good though. It felt tighter and cleaner.

 I would recommend this to anyone looking to help them relieve acne scarring on the face along with wrinkles and lines. You can also use this for your cellulite on your body so I will be doing that as well in the future.
