Adovia Natural Dead Sea Mud Soap

I had the lovely opportunity to try out this Dead Sea Mud Soap from Andovia. I actually was able to try out their Purifying Mud Mask just recently and loved how wonderful it left my skin feeling. You really can't beat this amazing combo together. Oh, before I get into what I thought I would just like to say that this product is Made in Israel and is not tested on animals which is a big plus!

It looks a little different then the picture on the Amazon page but I think I liked what I saw in person better anyway. I only say this because I thought it was going to be a smooth bar of soap from the company picture and now I know it's a little more abrasive from when I used it in the shower which is what I wanted. I could smell this bar even before taking it out of the box. It smells like lemons to me. It's a very pleasant scent indeed.

It's a nice sized bar as you can see from this angled shot peeking at the top. It lathered me very well in the shower. It was just such a pleasant experience because the aroma was divine and the scrubbing felt nice. I made sure to get my face because I have opened pores on my cheeks which have been getting better with the mud mask and now with this bar it will probably totally go tame. I would also make sure to apply the soap directly to your skin. It will probably work better that way. The scent of the bar stays with you after your shower throughout your day which is a good thing since it smells so nice.

My boyfriend has used this and he suffers from dry, itchy, red skin on his face. He has noticed his redness getting lighter and I couldn't be happier for him. He isn't flaking much and his itchiness has gone down. It was rough to see him suffering emotionally about it so I think Andovia's products have really perked him up. If you are looking for a more natural alternative like we were without the pain of going to a doctor then this is the golden ticket.


My skin feels so refreshed. His skin looks better.  This is just such a godsend to have especially with the weather getting warmer. Our skin will be glowing with the radiance of a thousand angels soon enough with regular use.
