Definitely an online pet supply website. The walnut pellets are the same size and shape as the high dollar "real" ones. They dry out the urine so there is no smell. The only drawback is they are dark brown, close to the color of cat poop. So it works to use a pine pellet for $9.00 40lb bag? That turns in to saw dust when hit with urine and falls below once you scoop and stir around the tray? I have been using Breeze since it came out. I have 4 in my house. It's very costly. I change pellets monthly. I wash the boxes in hot water and soap and scoopers and then go over everything with an alcohol wipe down on paper towels and never have noticed any odor problems. I just found the Peritas replacement pads on walmart.com for way cheaper. I can't find a cheaper solution to the pellets. Please advise if you have and it works. Every day I remove the poop into a plastic bag for disposal, and stir the pellets to send the broken down sawdust portion into the pad-lined tray below. For 2 cats, I dump and change the pads every other day. Some people use the sawdust as mulch, but I don't bother.liltannnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-28447323233546606.post-27817900050819083772017-01-31T11:40:54.145-05:002017-01-31T11:40:54.145-05:00Hey guys! I buy them on Amazon straight from Tidy Cats. I have found nothing works the best like their own pellets. There is absolutely no odor at all from the litter box. I get the 7lb bags (pack of 4) for $45.99 or $11.49 a bag. Petsmart likes to sell one 7 lb bag for a whopping $17.49 which is ridiculous! One 7 lb bag will last almost 2 months (Sometimes I may have to take a tiny bit from a new bag on the second month depending on how much the cats pooped) with my two adult cats. So it costs me $5.74 a month for pellets (Think 3.5 lb bag size which is $9.49 at Petsmart) which is incredibly cheap for litter. I hope this all makes sense. Basically again, stocking up on Amazon is your best bet to get the best bang for your buck for quality.
