Using New Purex plus Clorox 2 detergent with my Mini Washing Machine + Giveaway

I was so excited to get to try out new Purex Plus Clorox 2 Stain fighting detergent at home. I am a big fan of Purex and use their ultra packs already. But before I go on about that let me rant a bit about HOW I wash my family's clothing.

I don't have a finished basement so my only option was to get a small washer that could roll over to the kitchen sink. I've been using my Haier mini washing machine for like 2 years now. It's the best thing ever since I don't have to go out to do laundry anymore. Woohoo!

I have a boyfriend and two kids plus myself to do laundry for. It can be very time consuming the way I have to do it but it gets done. I have been through so many different kinds of detergents but Purex has been that one affordable brand that I can rely on for my family's clothing. I have never had a problem with staining from the color of the detergent itself plus it does a pretty amazing job.

I'm constantly washing my kids school uniforms so I decided to find a random stain on one of the pants and put this stain fighter to the test. Here's a typical small load I would wash together.

Now it's time to load up my cute little washer with the dirty load of clothing. (By the way, I'll end up usually doing about 4 loads in a day with my mini washer. It's enough to get clean clothes for the week for everyone surprisingly. Sometimes I'll do a second 4 load wash during the week if I have some free time.) Also, I am NEVER caught up with laundry. There is dirty laundry all over the house but I really am happy that I don't have to hand wash everything anymore which is a big relief!

I put just half a cap full since the load size is smaller with my washer.

I just go through the quick wash setting on my washer and the first load is done within about 20 minutes. Here are the same pants that had the stain on it. It's all gone and my kids uniforms smell so lovely. I'm really impressed with the stain fighting this detergent has done giving the clothing a bright clean. It's definitely a smart value for such a high quality product. Purex plus Clorox 2 works on 100 stains! That's impressive. Make sure to pretreat tough stains by rubbing some of the detergent into the fabric and letting it sit for 5 minutes before washing if needed.

My son is happy with his clean clothes and I am happy to have had this opportunity. Thanks for visiting :}

  14. We use whatever store brand we find, which works well enough for the price but doesn't get all the stains out.
